The GroupTools team has been busy over the past month developing and enhancing features based upon your feedback. We’re excited to announce the following features that are now available within the
NEW FEATURES
Event Activity Display Order
A Group Leader can now set the display order of each activity on an event by simply opening an activity and specifying the order in the display order field.
Itinerary Report
The itinerary report can be printed and emailed to Attendees from the itinerary report page, found within “More Options” on the event detail page.
Attendees can view the itinerary right in their email or on the event details page simply by clicking the “Itinerary Report” button.
Event Details URL Sharing
A "public" URL is now available on the event detail page along with a link for posting on a website, sharing via social media or sending via email. This link allows Group Leaders to share general information about an event with a public audience.
A user that is directed to a public event page can now request access to the event. The Group Leader will be sent an email notification and can choose to send the requester an invitation to the event.
Public Event Detail Access
When Attendees are invited to an event, they no longer have to login or register to use GroupTools. Attendees can now view event details, communicate with the group leader, add guests and make payments without registering or logging in.
Enhanced Messaging
Messaging has been updated to include emails sent to both attendees and group leaders when their invite status has changed and when guests are added. In addition, attendees will receive a daily email summarizing all changes to an event and/or the activity changes associated with an event.
Invitation Enhancements
We've updated the invitations to closely reflect the actual event details page. This includes event images, activity images, the event description and activity options within the email.
Resend Invitations
Group Leaders now have the ability to resend invitations to those that have not responded to their event. A physical email will be sent to the attendees and a message will be recorded within event related messages and within the attendees inbox.
