October 2018 Product Updates

October was an exciting month for GroupTools. As a sponsor of the Boomers in Groups Travel Conference, we were so delighted with the positive responses received from each and every one of the conference attendees we met with. In addition, we've partnered with several key suppliers and are gaining more momentum in the marketplace.

Meanwhile, our team has been busy developing and enhancing more features based upon your feedback and industry needs. We’re excited to announce the following features that are now available within the

Activity Options

A Group Leader can add activity options and locations based on the activity type.This functionality will help you better organize your activities and your itinerary.

New Partner Additions

We've expanded. Now you can get exceptional group rates when creating your event or adding activities to your event through our partners.

Broadway Inbound

Planning a group trip to Broadway? Broadway Inbound is the ticketing home for group buyers, tour operators, and the travel industry. We want to make sure your event runs as smoothly as possible. GroupTools has forged a relationship with Broadway Inbound in order to facilitate your group event planning process. More information can be found here.

HotelPlanner

Does your event include an overnight stay? GroupTools has partnered with HotelPlanner.com to get you the best group rates for your event. Unmatched hotel group rates for any type of group.  

Buster.com

Need transportation for your group event? GroupTools has partnered with Buster.com to get you instant transportation quotes at some of the best rates in the industry. Buster.com has a network of independent bus operators which is the largest of its kind in North America. 

Sending Invitations

As a group leader, you can now view the delivery status of your invitations. This includes whether or not the invitation was delivered to the invitee, how many times they opened the invitation and how many times the user interacted with the invitation. 

Account Security

You spoke, we listened. We've taken a step back on our password policy to make it easier for people to register and or reset their passwords.

Public Event Detail Access

When Attendees are invited to an event, they no longer have to login or register to use GroupTools. Attendees can now view event details, communicate with the group leader, add guests and make payments without registering or logging in.

Other Miscellaneous Updates

Several performance enhancements were resolved to make the application even faster. Our new live chat has been implemented within the app. And of course, we resolved a few bugs along the way.
